Cleaning Guidelines during COVID-19

A word from our cleaning company:


Touching base to let you know that we are geared up and ready to resume cleaning after
we get the all clear from the governor for rentals to resume. We will be cleaning according
to the guidelines set up by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and will be
implementing extra cleaning protocols. We continue to use the same products we have
always used, so your guests can rest easy knowing that we are doing everything possible to
clean, disinfect and help contain the spread of COVID-19.


- All products we use are CDC approved cleaning/disinfecting products. 

Specifically, we use:

Concentrated Spic and Span disinfecting all-purpose spray (EPA Reg. NO.
3573-96) 

Comet disinfecting cleaner with bleach (EPA Reg. 3573-77) 

Soft Scrub cleanser with bleach (EPA Reg. 64240-44-93222.


- We will be taking a 2-step clean approach – cleaning first, then disinfecting. All
visible dirt will be removed and cleaned from surfaces. Then we will disinfect
according to manufacturer and CDC directions.
- High-touch surfaces will be given extra attention. Examples of high-touch surfaces
include tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, remotes,
wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, and kitchen and
bathroom surfaces.
- Any linens that we wash will be laundered on the highest heat setting
As you can imagine, the additional cleaning will certainly require more time, but we will
definitely be able to thoroughly clean and disinfect your home within the allotted time.
